Innovision Media Group begins in the third floor of a rental townhouse in South Philadelphia. Founder and President Daniel Fried started the company as a small commercial production company that offered production and time buying services to businesses in the Philadelphia Metro Area. The third floor might have not been the best choice for air conditioning - but Dan and his one underpaid employee survived by standing in front of a fan in which the occasional glass of water may have been thrown.

The company continues to grow in it's production expertise and equipment base. Contracts are signed to make Innovision the full-service production office for Radio-TV-Reports, a leading provider of public relations materials and news informational video segments. Still one employee, but not so underpaid - cardboard cutouts were added so there was a "team" tending to the phones at all times.

Boy are we busy! This was the year where we produced 3 thrilling national sales meetings, added more new clients and began two new divisions; graphics and animation, and Internet productions...but we really think that this Internet thing is just a fad.

As the new techno-overloaded Millennium draws nearer, we were excited to add technology and software companies to our industrial video and training side. AT&T, Boeing Scientific, Astea International and Orthoware to name a few. The staff continues to grow - but we kept the cardboard cutouts in the hallway to keep us humble.

The new Millennium! After having celebrated the New Year with the President, we were off to a roaring start to 2000. We relocated our offices to Conshohocken, PA and expanded our digital imaging capabilities, nonlinear video editing and field acquisition equipment as well. We celebrated our anniversary by producing several Pharmaceutical training programs, and student recruitment interactive programs for use at the University level. Our new clients this year included The Discovery Channel, IBAH Pharmaceutics, The American Cancer Society to name a few.

After a record-breaking year 2000, we got got rid of our millennium hangovers and prepared to break more records. In 2001 we expanded our web division to include several new faces and clients. This year also brought new broadcast clients including A&E, The Travel Channel and several others. But, all good things must come to an end, so off to 2002 we go.

Well, in just 2 years, we outgrew our sprawling Conshohocken offices and off we went to find the new (hopefully permanent) spaces for Innovision. Our search was long and painful, but in the end we found our new home and in a record amount of time a crew of people built the new offices. Now in 6000 square feet, we even found room for a little sun deck where we can often be found sunning - but only while on breaks. Our new space also brought new opportunities that included the launch of a Prosthetic services company for which we did everything from corporate image, web, video and interactive and some of the sexiest marketing materials ever. We were also proud to work with several significant nonprofit groups including the American Diabetes Association, the Moore Eye Foundation and the historic launch of a new company called Generation Hope. Not bad for just the first half of the new year huh?
